Super super super soft. Just think silk. DS was cuddling them before I put them on him.
Super slim - slimmer than a MEOS so I could see myself using these as birth to potty very easily.
Dries on line in same time as my MEOS.
Super absorbent - I would reckon the same as my white tots bots easily.
had to go back to our medium airflows for the bamboozle as the large was just too big they are that slim
Wow, these really are absorbant, put one on Boo this afternoon just as we were going out for the day and didn't get a chance to change him til we got home, 5 and a half hours later!!! I'm well impressed.
Once washed they feel like the loveliest fluffy towels and as they only have four layers (rather than 5) they are slim too.
My only criticism is that they took longer to dry, not as bad as hemp but say on a par with a Sandy's or unbleached Tots.
Overall a big thumbs up :o)
Slim & lovely silky feel even if line dried rather than tumbled. Line dry slower than my MEOs. Very absorbant.
I'm not sure how hard wearing they'll be over time but overall a very good nappy.
I am currently trying out a bamboozle. Have to say it is very soft and stays soft, so must be good for non-tumble drier people and hard water.
I find the fabric feels slightly damp, even when I am sure the nappy is completely dry.
The fit seems slightly higher in the rise than a regular tots, although I may be imagaining things. The back is slimmer than a regular tots, but I don't really notice much difference in the front, as tots nippa nappies have long arms that cross over at the front, creating bulk.
I am not very happy with the containment, as we have had a few leaks of poop onto the wrap. The nappy was nippa'ed tight, but not too tight, but either it doesn't absorb as quickly as cotton, or it sags when wet more than cotton, but the fit around the leg is a let-down. DS has normal shape legs, not skinny and not fat, so it isn't likely to be that his legs are too thin.
Perhaps the popper version will fit better?
I have experimented with drying a Bamboozle size 2 and Tots 2 and the Bamboozle definitely takes ages longer. Much longer than a Bumble as well. I have also found that it is going crispy in our hard water (no solution yet), no containment probs tho! I don't think it is as absorbant as a Tots either. I think Fluffles are great as they dry really quickly and in my opinion seem to soak the moisture through the whole nappy so that it does not need changing quite as often. I don't like the feel of the microterry tho'
This is the most wonderful nappie. I LOVE IT. I cannot believe how it feels - so silky and soft. And it is the thinnest slimmest nappy. This is my new favourite - wish I had known this diaper before buying all the MEOS. THis diaper fits my tall slim girl like a glove. She is 16 lbs and 68 cms and we are using the size 2 nippa.
I love the feel of the natural fibre and am amazed how much this slim nappy can hold. Highly recommended.
This is my favourite all-rounder. It's slim enough to use for daytime yet absorbent enough to cope if we go out. I am also happy to use it boosted at night. And so soft!
Love the bamboozles, soft, cuddly, and no leaks ever even on my skinny-thighed leaky bum lass. We have water so hard even my swaddlebees velour goes crispy, but these stay soft and cuddly despite it. Question to Mully (above) - have you tried white vinegar in your fabric conditioner drawer? If not it's worth a go.
I already posted a review of these above - but have cooled down some after using them more.
I loved bamboozles to begin with but now after having used them a while I must say I dont think they are absorbant enough. They are still soft - almost too soft as they tend to sneak out of place when they are pooped :( Almost like underwear. I still think they absorb a lot compared to how thin they are - but they still are just that IMO - too thin. I have gone back to using the old cotton Tots - I think they are more relieable - both when it comes to containment and absorbancy.
I LOVE MY BAMBOOZLES!! Have been using them for 12 months now and have not had 1 problem, total containment on my skinny-minnie! still in size 1 wraps too (at 13 months) as they are so thin! All clothes fit too! Bonus!
Used through the night without boosters and never a leak! Cannot recommend highly enough! Supersoft, cute to look at and 'does exactly what it says on the tin'! LOVE THEM!
I love how soft and slim this nappy is but do not find it as absorbent as as the cotton tots bots. They take an age to dry on the washing line I often find I have to pop mine in the airing cupboard overnight to finish the drying process.
The best nappy I've tried on bubs yet.
Absorbent, soft, slim.
Excellent as a night nappy - with only a little boosting.
My only gripe would be that I can no longer find the nippa version. I bought the nippa version, liked the nappy, and when I wanted to buy more, could only find velcro/popper versions. I don't like either of them as much as the nippa version.
Bought one of these and a newly released Little Lamb Bamboo nappy to try out bamboo and compare the two. The Little Lamb was thicker and more cuddly so well worth a try if you are considering bamboo. Have to say though the Tots Bots are made in the UK - little lamb aren't (hence why they are much cheaper. Both took an age to dry (even longer than my Kushies AIO)
I have to add, I don't believe Bamboozles to be made in the UK. I think they are made in Turkey.
Which is where Little Lambs are made also.
i tried one out in size 1. it was a poor fit and the size one only really fitted until he was a few weeks old. if the fit had been better i would have been quite keen on them
I don't understand why so many love these - I found the drying time impossible and they weren't all that absorbent, certainly not through the night! I sold mine and bought bumbles instead for nights which are perfect boosted up with a terry square.
These are the softest nappy I have ever tried, and the one I chose to buy in the size 2 after trying different kinds in size 1. I would recommend the popper version though as I find the coloured aplix ones are not as soft, and the velcro sometimes folds over onto baby's skin and can rub leaving red marks - no such problem with the poppers. Highly recommended, but not unless you have a tumble dryer. I have also heard from a friend that they are no good in hard water areas.
One of the other comments noted that they are made in Turkey - I ordered some from a retailer on Ebay that were made in Turkey, but got my size 2s from the 'Clean Green Nappy Machine' and they were made in the UK, so I suspect the first ones I got may be knock offs that were made in Turkey?? Anyways - maybe best to ask sellers before buying if they are UK Made because they certainly SHOULD be!
I am very happy with my bamboozles! Very absorbent, good fit and I can get rid of poop easily. They take a bit long to dry though. Nice color selection ;-)
One of our bullet proof night time nappies. I have the popper fastening size 2 and I use it together with a bamboo booster and a wool wrap for night time! Recommended but I wouldn't use them day time though as I find the much bulkier than some other brands.
I have used Bamboozles for 2 months now after buying used Size 1to try out. They were originally very hard but after using white vinegar and plenty of rinses etc they are ok. Not as soft as new ones but I live in a soft water area so when I buy new Size 2 Bamboozles they should stay soft.
I cannot fault these, they have never leaked and have coped with explosive poo! They are super absorbent and I always put one of these on at night. I have used fleece wraps at night and these are great but bulky. I find Motherease wraps are the best.
When I buy the Size 2 ones I think I will go for popper fastenings as the aplix seems to be a bit bulky, especially with an aplix wrap.
I have tried 5 different other types of nappies and these are definitely my favourite up to now and I will be buying more!!
most tots nappies are Turkey made.
