It's conclusive - Reusable Nappies are more environmentally friendly than disposable nappies. The Environment Agency updated their controversial report at the end of 2008.
Reusable nappies can reduce damaging emissions by up to 40%.

HOW TO FIND WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ON THIS BLOG
SEARCH ENTIRE BLOG - there is a search box at the top of this blog, which allows you to search on specific words, such as 'tots' or 'Clwt Twt'
SEARCH BY CATEGORY - - beneath each nappy description on the blog are the categories to which the nappy belongs. All types of nappies and related items now have a label with a description such as
'shaped nappy - requires wrap - sized'
this means the nappy belongs to the category of nappies which are elasticated and don't require folding and which require a separate waterproof cover and have different sizes, to fit different sized babies.
Now you can click on this label and see ALL nappies which fall into this category on one page.

What a fantastic nappy!
You will love the Bambeasy especially if you are already a fan of their tried and trusted Bumble.
It is made from long loop bamboo, with a pocket and an attached booster held in place with poppers that folds neatly inside the pocket (just like the Bumble). It also has an inner fleece stay-dry layer.
I love the Bambeasy as it is a generous in size for a size 2 nappy, feels incredibly soft to touch, and I am able to get a lovely close fit with a nippa.
Highly recommended!
This is a brilliant nappy. The Bumble is great but bulky and this is the same great design but slimmer due to the bamboo fabric. I love the stay-dry fleece lining and the pocket behind the fleece takes a folded bamboo square for night time boosting. We have the birth to potty popper version and it works really well.
I have the Bamboo version of the Bumble, and as I was already a fan of the Bumble, I wasn't surprised to find that I really liked this nappy. It's a slimmer fit than the terry version and quicker to dry than many of the bamboo alternatives. The Bamboo outer is lovely and soft and, like the Bumble, you have the stay-dry fleece inner and the stuffable pocket. I find this nappy has a really nice fit and is very easy to use. The pocket means you can adjust the absorbency so can be used for day or night purposes.
Fantastic, absorbent nappy. Fleece lining keeps baby's skin lovely and dry. Not as slim fitting as some other cloth nappies on the market, but excellent absorbency and containment (we use Popolini or Imse Vimse wraps).
