It's conclusive - Reusable Nappies are more environmentally friendly than disposable nappies. The Environment Agency updated their controversial report at the end of 2008.
Reusable nappies can reduce damaging emissions by up to 40%.

HOW TO FIND WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ON THIS BLOG
SEARCH ENTIRE BLOG - there is a search box at the top of this blog, which allows you to search on specific words, such as 'tots' or 'Clwt Twt'
SEARCH BY CATEGORY - - beneath each nappy description on the blog are the categories to which the nappy belongs. All types of nappies and related items now have a label with a description such as
'shaped nappy - requires wrap - sized'
this means the nappy belongs to the category of nappies which are elasticated and don't require folding and which require a separate waterproof cover and have different sizes, to fit different sized babies.
Now you can click on this label and see ALL nappies which fall into this category on one page.

I have a Cottontails birth to potty Nappy and I have found that they are a bit tight on my 8month old so I have stopped using it, he weighs 21lbs 12oz, so he is a little on the big size, I also tumble dry my nappies, not sure if I've shrunken it?
awkward to fasten up and too small on a 15 month old baby. Way too bulky to be comfortable on a new baby too.
too fiddly and faffy but such a brilliant idea! Soft and slim but bulky on a newborn. As I said though great idea.
Your 8 month old is 21lb 12oz? Wow, that is a big baby! That's the same size as my 20 month old! I think the reason it's small is because at 8 months old, babies are really chubby as they're not yet walking - It's normal for babies to be on the largest settings for BTP nappies at around 8-11 months. When they slim down and develop a more toddler like shape they will prob start fitting better and you will be able to go down a few sizes.
