I have one of these and adore the teeny size which fits under clothes so well.
I think it would have been fab for when ds was born, and will bear it in mind for future babies.
It is a soft, squashy tiny nappy with reasonable absorbency, excellent for the size.
It dries fast and looks cute. Haven't tested the upper end of the weight range for this nappy.
I so love these nappies, very similar to tots but with less bulk. I also found the sizes to fit a wider range due to the stretch terry and the size 2 will fit forever. Absorbant, quite quick to dry and durable, pure brilliance!
Tried these and bimbles and much preferred these. The soft cotton inside is lovely and they don't shrink so much.
Great nappy, cotton stays fairly soft even in hard water areas with radiator drying. Fits beautifully and good containment on my newborn
Tried this and love it. It is nice and soft and fits my slim tall little girl very well. She is 5 months old and we use the size 2. I like the nippy nappa closeing since it is easy to adjust to the exact right size.
My fav nappy!
We stopped using this nappy at around 16.5lbs as it leaked poop and the absorbency was just not sufficient. But still think lovely for a teeny baby up a medium teeny baby.
My favourite nappy on a newborn - as so slim fitting and compact, they even nippa'd below the cord clamp quite neatly.
Only prob was, DS could outwee the size 1's by 12lbs!
Best with cotton bottom wraps for us.
fit different shapes and sizes easily. I have used them on three babies now and they did the job really well.
I mainly had the nippa version and used the cotton size 1 on my twins and DD. My DD is tall and outgrew the rise quite quickly, but the size 2 was much bigger and fitted up to potty no problem. The size 1 cotton dried quite fast, the size 2 is much slower to dry.
I have a microfibre diddy diaper size 2 as well, which is nice and stretchy and dries the fastest of all. The absorbency is much faster drying than the size 2 cotton version. I don't like the fabric that much, and in general don't really like microfibre nappies, I did find they made my babies a bit redder and hotter than cotton and nappy rash was a bit more common in them and they smell more than cotton.
Diddy diapers are great nappies. Soft terry, absorbent, good fit, and easy to use. Slightly slower to dry as no pull-out booster, but no other fault to be found.
I have been trying every bamboo nappy that comes out and was keen to try the bamboo lovable.
It was a bit of a disappointment, very thin, dried fast compared to a bamboozle, but the trade-off is the lack of absorbency.
It is OK on my 18 month old for a couple of hours, but not for nights and really needs to be boosted for a longer period such as a shopping trip.
The sizing is quite generous in the size 2, I can't comment on the smaller size. I can see this lasting until potty training.
Much preferred these to bimbles, they fit nicely and are very absorbent. We're still using the size 1 even now LO is nearly 4 months as they are very adjustable. The nippa version is great!
I used size 2 micro diddys on my first son and loved them they always fit and they dry fast. I have tried a lot of nappies but they are usually to wide on the waist and the other quick drying microfibre nappies are too bulky apart from the teddies which are cut too tall. I then got size 1s for my new baby who only just grew out of them at 8 months (he's diddy!!) they are not as absorbant but still great. Now I have 2 in size 2 diddys my oldest is now 2 and they fit them both fine. They do sometimes leak sloppy poops out of the leg and I'm finding the nippas are not staying on but its all forgiven when I try other nappies. So happy I have just bought more.
