Babeco - I bought one of these from ebay and it is a bamboo nappy with a fleece inner and pocket that you stuff the booster into. They claim to be the original bamboo nappy? I do like it but have found that the bamboo fabric is not as soft as the Tots Bamboozle and it is rather narrow in the pouch area so hard to get the booster in. A nice nappy but more expensive than the Tots although the money does go to a project supporting disadvantaged women who make them.
I also got a Babeco off ebay. It is called bootyliscious or something like that. It is terry outer ( not sure if it is the bamboo-one - I think mine is cotton) and fleece inner and there is a pocket to add stuffing. It is a size large and quite bulky on my 7kg girl but apart from that I like the Nappy Nippa closing. What I am not too fond of is the pocket. I am too lazy to both stuff a pocket as well as use a wrap. I prefer either one or the other - unless the pocket is for additional filling - forisntance for nights. But the Babeco seems to not be absorbant enough on its own and it does need stuffing even for daytime wear. I suspect this could well become a favourite night-time diaper later on but I will not get more of them. I am more of an admirer of making the simple effecient. This diaper is simply a bit too fancy for my taste - without being particularly cute - at least not in the natural/cream color I have it in..
I am very happy with the babeco nappy. It's simple to use and dries really quickly because of the pocket booster system and being made from organic cotton and hemp,I know it's good for my baby. It has a built in fleece style liner so she stays dry. I got them because my husband was struggling with poppers and liked using the nippa, i wanted organic if possible and something that would dry quickly on an airer - The babeco fits the bill! I agree the boosters are a bit difficult to stuff, but like everything else it just needs a little practice. Also I do like to support small ethical businesses.
i bought a second hand one from the nappy lady. i think it's a bootylicious one. i really like it. i use it as a night nappy together with their night booster and it works really well.
I had 2 of these the budget hemp and bamboo. I don't know why they are called budget cause they are made really well I really liked them. They fit well and I like the poppered in booster with a fleece top as no need for a seperate liner. The hemp stayed quite soft (for hemp!) The hemp dries a lot quicker than the bamboo but the bamboo is lovely and soft. I used them for night cause my ds is a heavy wetter and everything else I have is micro or cotton so not absorbant enough. They still look as good as new.
