This is for general barrier and skin creams as well as for creams aimed at treating nappy rash.

Metanium works really well on my ds's nappy rash. I usually use it in conjunction with bepanthan if he has a rash - a bit of metanium thinly spread, then bepanthan on top. If I do this at night, his bum has dramatically improved by morning.
I also use aqueous cream if his bum is a bit dry from contact with poops.
Another great cream is allergenics non-steroid cream it has aloe vera, shea butter and other stuff I forget, but it helps to soften and take the redness out of his skin.

Agree completely with kl_grendon, weleda nappy change cream fab - fortunately my DD didn't get nappy rash bad - although maybe it was becasue I constantly used this!

Another vote for Weleda! And my ds has never had nappy rash... so it must be working.

my baby only had nappy rash whilst wearing dispoasables, when he did i let him air using some boys y fronts and a booster a few times a day and used kamillosan - camomile based cream, it went within one day.

Pure Potions lavender nappy balm - absolutely fantastic, tho a tad pricey. However, it's lasting a while!
