Sandys and Toddlease

My son in a Sandy's Size Large, it's a bit wonky at the back because he wouldn't stand still. The style is similar to Toddle-ease, but smaller.
He is obviously teething hence hands in mouth.

Sandy's is a good nappy, excellent containment and good absorbency, excellent with a booster at night. These nappies are very hardwearing and i have heard of them lasting several babies. They are quick drying and do not require a tumbler to keep them soft. The only thing wrong is that poppers are a faff compared to velcro, however they do make the sandy's a very adjustable nappy that will fit slim and chunky babies.

I love my toddlerease and just wished I had discovered them sooner! They are very absorbant yet slim fitting under trousers.
The poppers if not a bit fiddly are a great idea especially with a popper wrap as they keep out prying fingers!! I would say a great all rounder.

I found my sandy's great, I got some second hand and they are still doing the job well, elastic is still going strong and the fit is fab. With dd I had to add boosters but they are quite roomy so it wasn't a problem.

Motherease Sandys.
the slimmer baby brother to the motherease range. i love these on a newborn. they popper and are so tiny (starting at six pounds), so none of that huge bum, clothes dont fit thing on your little one. They lasted my little boy from birth to about four months and aren't as absorbent as a one size but you're changing a newborn all the time anyway.
they're also good as a slim option for older babies, say for special occasions or the tighter clothes. i love em, so cute. and they resell well. goes great with a rikki wrap.

I found the small sandy's to be not nearly absorbant enough on my heavy wetting ds. Even boosted it struggled to last an hour.

I had no problem selling on though, very good resale value!

I can't understand why Sandy's are so popular. I never got on with them at all and I have tried on two different shaped children.

I found that they leaked from the leg and waist after only 3/4 hr. Even boosted they stuggled to last an hour.

I also found that they took an age to dry. For me their only plus side was their good resale value!!

I would certainly not recommend them!

Lovely nappy and quick drying. However, not nearly thick or absorbant enough.

Sandys are lovely nappies, good for containment, and very well-made. They do tend to need boosting, however there is plenty of room for this. The small lasts for at least 6 months and I can see the large lasting to potty training unless it's a very big child. The organic Sandys is really lovely, a beautiful soft unbleached colour with gorgeous leg trimming, and apparently it washes better than the original Sandys as it's 100% cotton instead of a cotton/polyester mix. It's a bit slow to dry I think but is a nappy with real charm!

I have a toddlease and its good for daytime but I do find it very slow to dry, nevermind it is good though

Sany's newborn was the first nappy my baby was put in, great fit, slim fitting and great containment. They are not particuarly absorbant on their own however, but with frequent changes that won't be a problem.

I also had problems with leaks. Probably could have overcome with boosters, though.

I love my Sandy's - I have just bought some of the newborn size to take to the hospital when my next one pops out. I found that the Sandy's were perfect for night-time because they were easy to boost. I also really liked them if I was going out and I needed a trim fit for some special clothes. I used airflow wraps over them and never had any leaks. I wouldn't recommend them for full time use, because they do take longer to dry, but as slim fit nappy or for night-time well boosted they are perfect!

Not as absorbent as Tots, but take as long to dry. Not too bulky, until you start boosting it. A reasonable nappy, I thought; dull but does the job.

i like them - the small seems to fit a wide weight range. they ll go on my chunky 8 mth old niece and on my 12wk old daughter. no problems with leaks so far

I love my Sandys as they are so adjustable and are amazing at containing breatfed poo, they also have never leaked and they stay reasonably soft in the hard water area I live in! Hoping to go on and use the XL version when ds gets older, and will definatly be starting with the XS on the next one. Reliable, smart looking and with good resale value you can't go wrong.

I find the organic Sandys especially to be mega absorbant!!!

At night I add a bamboo booster as well as a usual motherease one and it lasts all night.

Just fab!

I came late to Sandy's so have only tried a large. I'm actually really surprised how much I like it. I haven't had any containment problems with this nappy. I also really like the fit which looks far more comfy then tots bots. I've used mine several times now and it is still lovely and soft.

I have used Sandys on all 4 of my children (the same set!) and they're still going strong. The XS are cute, but probably not worth the extra money unless you have a v small baby, but the small and large have been brilliant. I used One Size Stay Dry (boosted) at night and then Sandys in the day. I use the air flow wraps and leaks have only happened very rarely. Would definately recommend.
