disana tie on
They look crazy but I think they are the most adjustable, soft, boostable nappy around....the secret is to cut the ties off once your baby gets wriggly and prefold them ready then they nippa up just as easily as any other nappy - the brushed cotton inners you can buy are gorgeous, I also put towelling, microfibre etc inside mine and it works as a night or day nappy.

I used this nappy as an extra bit of absorbency at nights. I would place a boosted prefold inside and then secure it in place with a Disana tie on nappy.
It would probably be a bit too fiddly with the strings now, for an 8 month old wriggler. However, as another poster said, I could cut off the strings.
It looks very cute on, especially when tied, I don't think it would work alone for long, but is great with a prefold or perhaps a padfolded terry.
The disana tie on nappy was fiddly to put on in my opinion and not absorbant at all as soon as she had weed I had to change.
I loved these when my baby was little, boosted with a pad folded terry they were lovely and soft and very cute on, also dry very quickly.
I love these, so cheap BUT you must remember to tie the ties together for washing otherwise you end up with a knotted lump bouncing about the machine. They dry very quick too.
