It's conclusive - Reusable Nappies are more environmentally friendly than disposable nappies. The Environment Agency updated their controversial report at the end of 2008.
Reusable nappies can reduce damaging emissions by up to 40%.

HOW TO FIND WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ON THIS BLOG
SEARCH ENTIRE BLOG - there is a search box at the top of this blog, which allows you to search on specific words, such as 'tots' or 'Clwt Twt'
SEARCH BY CATEGORY - - beneath each nappy description on the blog are the categories to which the nappy belongs. All types of nappies and related items now have a label with a description such as
'shaped nappy - requires wrap - sized'
this means the nappy belongs to the category of nappies which are elasticated and don't require folding and which require a separate waterproof cover and have different sizes, to fit different sized babies.
Now you can click on this label and see ALL nappies which fall into this category on one page.

very comparable to tots, aplix is just a little wider at the front and no sewn in soaker, But the terry may be thicker so I would say similar absorbency.
As I recall Daisy Diapers do have sewn in soakers stitched at the back of the nappy not the front.
Nice absorbant nappy.
These are no longer made, but there seem to still be quite a few floating around on the second hand market.
I picked up a size 2 'preloved' Daisy. It has been well loved, so I can safely say this is a well made nappy, it has strong durable fabric and the elastic is still going strong.
It is a quite a high rise nappy and looks hilarious on, like a cave baby.
