I don't like my ellas house day , they are not absorbent enough for us.

Ellas house night absorbent enough for day use.

I use Ella house hemp nappies for the nights. They are really absorbant and do the job in hand. Only downside being they take all day to dry on the line.

Last only 2 hours (bumhugger) and then soaked through and makes even an ME wrap leak. Mine have disintegrated as well and were hardly used - strange

The day nappies last at least 3 hrs for us and our lovely and slim under summer clothes

Lovely and slim but not greatly absorbant for a heavy wetter. Take quite some time to dry and in my experience go crispy on the line! Not my cup of tea but worth a try.

too many snaps on this nappy - I can't quite figure it out, I'm sure I snap it a different way each time! I too don't find it very absorbant, always soaking wet within couple of hours
but the cuteness factor for some of the little girl prints is tops

I recomend ellas house hemp nappies because they are made from one of the most absorbant materials. They are slim enough for most clothes to go over them and the are very absorbent.
They look so cute you get them in poppers or velcro.
At nighttime you can use ellas house bum huggers they are the same as the hemp house nappies, but more absorbant and are fleece lined. I love this system.

Oh I forgot to say that the hemp nappies I have are softer than the terry nappies. I always give them a quick tumble dry and the hemp is soft when it dries.
I also have Totsbots and the terry always seems to dry crunchy unless I tumble them a lot - which I don' tlike to do.

I have Ellas House print nappies and one Bumhugger. Especially the Bumhugger thrilled me completely when I got it. It seemed so soft and the elastication was good - and the diaper was just beautiful - with the serges, royal blue fleece on the inside and cream-hemp on the outside. But but but - as soon as it had been washed it turned stiff. The elasticated areas are now very hard and it is so slim between the legs that my son has leaked in it every time so far. The hemp soaker tends to dry up in hard bulky lumps. For some reason the hemp just doesnt seem to behave very well in out house - wonder if it is the hard water? we have the same problem with the prints. They have a hemp inner fleece layer and they get all stiff after washing a few times.Even with tumble drying. Every time my daughter has worn them (she is 15 lbs and we use a large)she gets huge red marks on her thighs from the rough edge of the diaper.
I am not getting me any more Ellas House diapers. They have all started out well - then just gotten worse and worse.

BUMHUGGERS (large): Used for 1 month on my 19-20m old. I like a lot, fit and construction are good. But I boost them to be sure they'll last 3-4 hours. I have both aplix & poppers; think I slightly prefer adjustable fit with poppers.

HEMP (XL size): Used for 2 children over 3.5 years. I got these for overnight (used with prefold as a booster). Even in our hard water they is relatively soft (the only nappy I can say that of!). One of the poppers has fallen off in the wash, but there are enough poppers left it's not a problem.

Am using the large bumhugger with ME wraps, can use the Hemp nappy with ME or Junior Joy wraps.

fairly absorbant and slim fitting but do go a bit stiff if you dont tumble them. found the sizing really small theres no way the small would fit up to 20lb!

I have the old-style bumhugger (without the pull-out booster). I find this nappy to be really absorbent but also slim fitting (particularly between the legs). It looked lovely when it first arrived in the post but after giving it 3 washes it looked 10 years old and the hemp had become stiff and hard. Also the velcro tabs are very large and I worry that they may become uncomfortable on DS once he is sitting up (stiff material and large velcro tabs can't be a good combo around the tummy!). As a final comment I would have to say that although I wouldn't order anymore I don't dislike the one I have.

Ellas' house hemp nappies have one of the nicest and trimmest fit among all the fitted nappies that I have bought.

They make an excellent daytime nappy.

The bumhugger is excellent as a night nappy.

I have bought several different kinds of nappies and I must say, these 2 are among the best.

i love mine, started on the old style bumhuggers which were good during the day but the new style are fab cos you can boost them without faffing round with the soft fleecy liner. no probs here with drying time or stiffness but it's a pretty soft water area so that must be why
also used the hemp day nappies on my newborn and they were the best newborn nappy i tried, lovely and slim fitting. they would need boosting for an older baby though i would imagine
the print ones are gorgeous!

I have been using Ella's house for a week now. I use the normal ones through the day and a gorgeous bum hugger for night time. I do put in a fleece liner or 2 during the day to help with absorbancy. I live in a soft water area and my nappy's are still soft. I agree that between the legs have reduced in size slightly but it has not caused a issue yet. My biggest problem is the drying time, on a radiator it takes hours!!! was still wet after an hour in tumble dryer. Dries best out on the line with the sun and wind. I like this nappy and I like the 'Little Lamb' wrap, fits nicely with it. I give it 7 out of 10.

I use the bumhugger at night - fantastic! it does take long to dry, and the outer hemp is cripsy, but the fleece inner is so soft and when stuffed with a couple of boosters it can last 12 hours (all night) on my heavy wetter with a Motherease airflow over top. Plus the prints are adorable!!

Not so keen on the non bumhugger though as it has no fleece inner. Sizing is small though, so I really hope his size two will last through to potty!

i'm finding that ella's house don't fit well under any of my wraps (thirsties, nature babies, and little lambs) so i get leakage around the top of the legs. Fabric is nice and soft and dries well (electric clothes rail and dehumidifier combo) but always seems soaking when i change the nappy
