Fuzzi Bunz

My son in a medium Fuzzi Bunz in primary red. It is stuffed with a Mother of Eden insert and a rectangular 3-layer hemp insert.

These are my favourite nappy! They fit my ds very well and are lovely and slim and easy to use especially if your baby is in childcare. To the childminder they are much the same as a dispoable, yet for the mum (or chief launderer!) they are great because they dry much quicker than an all-in-one. The fleece inner is beautifully soft and keeps baby's bottom really dry. They come in a very wide range of colours but I would prefer if they did more prints.

Very popular pocket nappy. I have one Fuzzi Bunz which has pointy tabs (apparently the tabs are the things which tell you which 'model' of Fuzzi you have).
It works quite well, but it is a large and the legs don't fit very well on my 19lb baby boy.
I like it with Mother of Eden inserts, but don't like not having the security of an outer wrap.

Love my Fuzzis! Keeps the wetness away from him bottom, therefore causing no nappy rash. They certainly have the "cute" factor about them.

dont get on with the. They always wick at all ends. Tried everything to try and stop this but no joy

I really wanted to like these - they are sooo cute and easy to use BUT:

Tried the small when ds was little and had dreadful problems with wicking so had to give up.

Have had slightly more success when tried again in large size, but find the poppers difficult to get a good neat fit with very chunky thighs, and they are also very low in the rise giving a "builders bum" for my tall ds.

Much prefer slinki minkis or happy heinys.

These are not our favourite nappy but they are very slim fitting when used with microfibre inserts although they do sit very low on the tummy, almost like a "bikini" cut!

I hve tried various different nappies and I love Fuzzi Bunz they are just Fab!!

I find that they are a really good fit on both my 3 mth old and 30 mth old. They can be stuffed according to your baby's requirements and are a very neat and slim fitting nappy, especially with the microfibre inserts.

I also like the fact that they are easy to use and you don't need a separate wrap. Plus they dry like a dream even if its wet outside, an hour or so on the airer does it!!

The only downside with fuzzi bunz is the cost - it's quite an expensive nappy system to use but the plus factors far outweigh the expense.

Big Thumbs up!!!

I love my fuzzis in fact i bought 4 more last week. they are so easy to use, wash and dry and never leak on us!

Tried for a long time to get on with these. Had several and loved the colours and quick drying time. Problem was they always LEAKED! No matter what I stuffed them with and how much or how little I stuffed them. They never seemed to fit well either which was probably the cause. I think they suit certain shapes but not that of my DS. He has a big tum which made the top of the waist curl over. They never fitted snug around his thighs so always leaked in his buggy or carseat coz the wee just trickled out the gap that always formed.
Hav given up trying and just sold all the Fuzzis I had.

Tried a medium on my ds and the fit was much better than the large we tried previously. No poo leaks this time, so the leg fit is obviously crucial. Only problem there is I have heard a lot of complaints about the variation in size from batch to batch.
The nappy looks fab when it's on and give a fairly slim profile, dependent upon the insert type and number.
We had him in his medium with a Mother-ease booster and a microfibre cloth for three hours lying in his pram, there was wetness around the back at the end of this time, so I'm still not a convert, as a fitted with a wrap is more reliable in general. But these are cute nappies and very easy to put on, so will keep a few to hand. Wouldn't move to pocket nappies though.

Petite Fuzzis are my favourite. They are fitting at 4mths and fitted my other DD until she toilet trained at 18mths, useful as a trainer pant too as you just don't stuff it. Superb quality nappies, easy enough for nanna to have a go!

I have the pointy-cornered ones. Used for 6 weeks, mostly on California holiday.

PLUSES, dry very quickly, easy to stuff, sizing & fit were good.

NEGATIVES: Tried stuffing with terries & other things -- they almost always leak. With a vast existing collection of terries, I didn't feel up to trying every other type of booster instead.

i like these really easy to use but do occassionally get leaks around the legs especially if you leave it on to long or babys between popper sizes. your right about the size variation between batches, some of mine are much smaller then others that are supposed to be the same size. its defnitly worth having some of these even if you only use them for out and about/nursery

The first pocket nappy I tried, but didn't like.
It was very difficult to get the right size for an 18month old girl with largish thighs.
We also had leaks quite often with my heavy wetter.

I absolutely love how the smalls fit my baby, we've not had any leaks with them or wicking, and they just look so cute and slim. I'm now buying them in mediums for when he's in the next as he's growing like a weed!

i tried these a few times and it didn't go well. i don't think there's anything wrong with the nappy it's just that they weren't absorbant enough for my baby.

I like these. The large fits my chunkymonkey (5 months but a hefty 20lbs) really well and looks comfortable. I always put an additional micro-terry booster in mine and I haven't had a leak yet.

These are our favourite nappy. As with all pocket nappies, they are as absorbent as what you stuff them with. 2 microfibre inserts or a folded bamboo square have worked for us every day for 2.5 years. They are slim fitting, easy to use and gorgeous! I have never trusted pocket nappies for night time as I don't think we could physically stuff enough in the pocket to get our boy through the night, but as a day time nappy they are the best!

i bought the new fuzzis with additional boosters in microfibre , hemp and bamboo. useless for night time as the leaked wee all up the back and i just couldnt stuff enough in to get my girl through the night. not too bad for daytime though so will keep them for out and about maybe but sticking to my 2part system for main use as its far more reliable.
overall a bit disappointed ;-(

Really surprised that so many people find there's a problem with these. We've used the medium since DS was 5 months old (he's now 16 months) with no problems at all - a very occassional wicking issue but only if I haven't changed him for hours. They don't look as good as Blueberries (my other favourite) but I predict my DS will use these until he's potty trained, with no need to go into the large - not bad for a supposedly multi-sized nappy.

Good nappy for day, wouldn't use for night though, prefer 2 part for night. Took a bit of experimenting with the stuffing to last up to 3 hrs though. I now use microfibre and hemp inserts together and this does the job nicely. Before this I did get a few leaks on the leg but it has alway contained poo nicely!

Easy to use, super fast to dry and are nice and slim. Will definitely be buying a few more in the the next size.

My DD is now 3 months old, and FBs have never worked for us. At the beginning, I thought she was just too little for the smalls, and she would grow into them. But, at 3 months, her legs are still skinny, and no matter how I snap them, she has gaps at the thighs. gaps=leaks

I know it's not a problem of the inserts, because I can use the same inserts with the BumGenius, and don't have any problems.

I'll keep trying, but I would have expected smalls to fit a three month old pretty well.
